Simba Baked, a new baked Simba chip brand, wanted to connect with mothers of young children to a) inform them of the new range b) encourage fans to submit lyrics to the Simba Baked lyric challenge and c) to share daily tips with mothers about keeping their kids healthy.
A Simba Baked Facebook Page acted as the hub for all campaign activity. The page played host to a competition form, favourite-flavour voting tab, SMS competition info page and content produced under the guidance of Inquisition.
A Facebook advertising campaign, which broadly targeted moms 24+ from Gauteng, was was initiated at the start of the campaign.
To date Simba Baked has 12,650 Facebook fans and growing, 79% of them female and within the requested target segment. Simba Baked has received over 100 song entries in the Simba Baked lyric challenge and Simba Baked's posts have been viewed 804,272 times.
